College and Continuing Education Credit

Dear Teachers,
Webster University is offering a college credit option and University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL) is offering a non-credit option for your attendance and participation in AOSA's Professional Development Conference at GREAT PRICES!

NON-CREDIT OPTION
  • Continuing Education Credit: Music teachers can earn 1 CEU (Continuing Education Unit) for attending 10 hours of conference participation, 1.5 CEUs for 15 hours of conference participation, and 2.0 CEUs for 20 hours of conference participation and completing the Attendance/Participation Log from University of Missouri-St. Louis.

    • Fee: $25.00 for all CEU credits ($15 replacement fee for lost CEU certificate).
    • Pick up Attendance/Participation Log at College Credit desk at the AOSA Conference before attending sessions and return before leaving the AOSA Conference.

To qualify:
    • Print the CEU forms in advance (see below) or pick up a CEU Information sheet and a CEU Certificate Request form at the College Credit desk at the AOSA Conference.
    • Submit your CEU Certificate Request with a check (made payable to the University of Missouri-St. Louis) or cash (receipt will be provided) and completed Attendance/Participation Log by 5 p.m. on Nov. 17 to the College Credit desk at the AOSA Conference. Credit card information will be accepted.
    • You may also send a CEU Certificate Request form, along with a check (made payable to the University of Missouri-St. Louis) or credit card information with signature, as soon as possible after conference to:

    • Payment may be made by individuals attending the training or by the organization requesting the CEUs.

COLLEGE-CREDIT OPTION
  • Music teachers can earn 1 graduate credit from Webster University for attending 15-23 hours of sessions and completing the Attendance/Participation Log, or can earn 2 graduate credits by attending 24 or more hours of sessions and completing the Attendance/Participation Log. Participants are encouraged to include the 2 non-ticketed Wednesday evening events to meet the minimum participation requirement of 24 hours.

    • Fee: $110 per credit hour.
    • Pick up Attendance/Participation Log at College Credit desk at the AOSA Conference before attending sessions and return before leaving Conference.

To qualify for enrollment:
    • Print a form in advance (see below) or pick up a Graduate Credit Information form at the College Credit desk at the AOSA Conference.
    • Submit the graduate credit registration form with a check (made payable to Webster University) and completed Attendance/Participation Log by 5 p.m. on Nov. 17 to the College Credit desk at the AOSA Conference. Credit card information will be accepted.
