A playing session. New soprano recorder music from Sweet Pipes complements the traditional music used by AOSA members over the years!
Susan McDaniel serves as the Elementary Music Facilitator for the Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD in Carrollton, Texas, and directs the District Honor Choir. Susan is a clinician, adjudicator and presenter of various workshops around the state. She has three levels of certification in Kodály and completed level two in Orff this summer.

I. Children Moving Forward: Dancing to Learn
Explore movement as the essential grounding for cognitive, social-emotional and physical growth. Learn to “teach less” as children creatively dance through arts and academic curricula.
II. Make a Joyful Noise! Church Music for Children
Transform “joyful noise” into “jubilant song” through the Orff process. Voice, movement and drum awaken the spirit of creativity through pieces suited for multi-age groups.

Kerri Lynn Nichols has taught all ages in the public and private sectors for 24 years. Author, performer and recording artist, she teaches internationally in music, movement and brain based learning. Her focus is to build life skills, community and global connections through the power of music and movement.
O'Donnell, Linda (# 248, 347)
Children's Music Ministry-Orff Style
Create church music for children by adapting folk songs, examining the volumes and arranging hymns. Explore music for worship with emphasis on process.
Linda O’Donnell received degrees from the New England Conservatory of Music and the University of Lowell. She completed the apprenticeship for teacher training. Linda teaches in the Andover Public Schools and is the Director of Youth Choirs at South Church, Andover. She is a 2009 Massachusetts Teacher of the Year finalist.

Littlest Dancers: Movement in the Early Childhood Music Setting
Unlock the potential of your youngest dancers from babies to Kindergarten. Integrate movement in a way that supports creativity, musicality and fun.

Kris Olson has taught music and movement for 20 years. She has a MA with an Orff emphasis from St. Thomas University. Kris studies dance at Zenon Dance Company, has taught movement courses at various universities and presents at national conferences. Kris teaches parent/child classes in Minneapolis, MN.
