Diane Persellin is Professor of Music Education at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, She is also past-president of Texas Music Educators Conference, co-author of the Pre-K Spotlight on Music Macmillan/McGraw- Hill, and author of the spring Orff Echo article, “Brain–based Education in Music: A New Science or Science-Fiction?”

1994 Winner of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra’s Music Educator’s Award, and inductee in Who’s Who Among American Teachers, Alice S. Pratt served for 33 years in the Rochester City Schools. Alice, a recent Region V Representative, is a column coordinator for Reverberations, and is published in Alfred’s Music Expressions.

Tim Purdum teaches 3-8 grade music in Independence, IA. Tim is a teacher trainer and has taught Introduction to Orff courses and chapter workshops in Ohio and Iowa. He presented at the AOSA conference in 2006. Tim is the President of the First Iowa Orff Chapter.

Sarah Richardson teaches music and drama at Lake Country Montessori School in Minneapolis. She graduated from St. Olaf College and has Orff levels training. Sarah has worked as a professional actor, is Montessori trained and teaches movement and theatre in Orff courses around the country.

Emma Rodríguez Suárez was born and raised in the Canary Islands, Spain. She has completed Orff Schulwerk teacher education and holds a Kodály Certificate from the Kodály Musical Training Institute. Emma has presented workshops both nationally and internationally. She teaches music education at Syracuse University.

Diane Sabourin resides in Chazy, New York. Recently retired, Diane has incorporated technology in the classroom for many years, employing Audacity in creative ways. She has served on the NBT as both National Conference Chair for the 2008 AOSA National Conference and as a Region V Representative. She is a frequent Early Childhood presenter.
Jessie Vance resides in Raleigh, North Carolina, where she is enjoying retirement after 35 years of teaching. As National Conference Chair for the 2008 AOSA National Conference in Charlotte, Jessie created and edited the Podcasts for the AOSA Web site using Audacity. She recently retired as Editor of Reverberations, AOSA's newsletter
