Rossana, a dedicated member of AOSA and the Nevada's Desert-Valley chapter, Levels instructor, and workshop presenter, is a most deserving recipient of this award. As the creator of sensitive and unique lessons to help bridge the gap between Spanish and English speaking children, Rossana attends the conference with her unique perspective, and supports the mission of the World Village to unite music educators of different countries and cultures. Rossana is a perfect candidate for this lovely conference held in the Finnish countryside. We are so proud that she is representing AOSA. Bon Voyage, Rossana!

JaSeSoi ry, Orff-Schulwerk Association of Finland, has generously provided this scholarship to the World Village 2008 conference for a member of AOSA. The conference, taught in English, will be held July 27 – August 1, 2008, in Valkeala, Finland.

The mission of the World Village is to unite music educators of different countries and cultures.  Located in the Finnish countryside, music and human spirit are elements of the week. The common spirit of fun, laughter, mischief, understanding, hard work and ambition prevail.
