Frau Liselotte Orff: 1930 - 2012
It is with great sadness that the American Orff-Schulwerk Association announces on behalf of the management and trustees of the Carl Orff Foundation the passing of Liselotte Orff (nee Schmitz) on Wednesday, September 19, shortly after her 82nd birthday.

Congratulations to new NBT Electees
The American Orff-Schulwerk Association is pleased to announce the results of the recent National Board of Trustees elections. Those elected to serve as Regional Representatives will have a three-year term of 2012-2015 with the Recording Secretary serving two years, 2012-2014. Terms begin July 1. Congratulations to:

AOSA Online Auction is closed
AOSA's fourth annual auction closed at Midnight, EDT on Wednesday, March 14th. It was another outstanding success, unofficially raising over $3100 for the Annual Fund!
American Recorder Society Cover Art Contest Announced
American Recorder Society is having its second annual Magazine Cover Art Contest. The artwork of the contest winner will appear on the cover of American Recorder Society's September 2012 issue of American Recorder magazine.
The contest is open to students in Grades 3-8 and the artist must show the recorder in some way. Further information and rules can be found HERE. The contest deadline is January 20, 2012.
